Do you often flip through the pages of In Touch and imagine what it would be like to shop the closets and homes of your favorite celebrities and influential designers (Okay… and your trendy neighbors, too). Thanks to HipSwap, a celeb-endorsed mobile and web marketplace, buying The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards’ gently worn handbag is actually possible. (No, we’re not kidding!)

Okay, so perhaps you’re not convinced? (We weren’t either until our very own web editor Kari Friedlander joined in on the fun, allowing HipSwap into her New York City studio for a photo shoot.) Then see for yourself! Jillian Barberie Reynolds of Good Day LA let a HipSwap video camera into her closet — which is actually a converted bedroom — and said she plans to sell many of the designer bags, shoes and clothes she has accumulated over the years. (For $375, you can buy a pair of size 6.5 sparkly Jimmy Choo black heels that Kyle wore to Kim Kardashian’s wedding.)

And the site doesn’t just offer clothing! You can also now shop the home of Millionaire Matchmaker’s Jordan Cappella. “One thing I love about HipSwap is that it allows me to have a retail store without having the overheads of actually having a retail store,” says Jordan. “I turned my home into a showroom and everything in my home is for sale.”

Interested in selling from your own closet? Simply take a photo using the HipSwap iPhone or Android app or upload a photo using the HipSwap web app. Then price the item, title it and post it into the marketplace.

Try it out fashionistas (and fashionistos!). We are dying to know what you all think! We’re betting this is one app you’ll love to get behind.
