Brody Jenner’s Mom Linda Thompson Thinks His Relationship With Josie Canseco Will Be ‘Longterm’
Mom approves! The Hills: New Beginnings star Brody Jenner just went Instagram official with his new girlfriend, Josie Canseco, and it’s safe to say that his mother, Linda Thompson, is happy for both of them. The 69-year-old gushed about her son’s new lady love at the Face Forward International Gala “Highlands To The Hills” event on Saturday, September 14.
“She’s darling,” Linda told In Touch and other reporters at the event. “Yes. I’ve met her several times and she’s a darling girl. So you know, life moves on.”
Brody, 36, and Josie, 22, have only been dating for about a month and they first sparked dating rumors shortly after he announced his split from his wife, Kaitlynn Carter, back in August. But even though it seems like Brody and Josie’s relationship might be moving fast, Brody’s mom thinks their relationship could stand the test of time. “It portends to be, it does portend to be longterm. Yeah,” Linda said.
Linda could see Brody and Josie’s relationship lasting because she feels they are very similar people with similar interests. “I think they like the same things. She’s very outdoorsy. Even though she’s a Victoria’s secret model and the New York girl now, she still likes the outdoors,” the former actress said. “Brody does too. They both love animals. They both have great, huge hearts for animals and animal rescue. And so, you know, that’s important. And they have the greatest sense of humor. Both of them. They have the same sense of humor and they’re both full of vinegar.”
If Brody and Josie enjoy the outdoors together, then they had the perfect little getaway over the weekend. On Friday, September 13, Brody took to Instagram to share the first-ever photos of his model bae from their romantic vacation in Montana. “Going to the mountains is going home. ✌🏼,” Brody wrote in the caption of the first photo. In a second photo, Brody and Josie stopped to snap a picture while horseback riding. “I’d rather be lost in the woods than found in the city 🤠,” Brody wrote in the caption.
