Britney Spears Rocks a Little Black Dress Alongside Boyfriend Sam Asghari at Daytime Beauty Awards

Showing support! Britney Spears was all smiles while making a rare red carpet appearance with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, at the 2019 Daytime Beauty Awards on Friday, September 20. The pop star dressed to impress for the Los Angeles based event, where her personal trainer beau is being honored for Outstanding Achievement in Fitness.

Britney opted for a chic off-the-shoulder frock and matching pumps, while Sam looked suave in a perfectly tailored suit. The power couple appeared to be in great spirits while posing for photos together and he later stepped aside for some interviews. Britney, 37, has been keeping a low profile in recent months, having last graced the red carpet with her beau in July for the highly anticipated premiere of Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood.

However, the “Gimme More” songstress has been making headlines amid her family turmoil. On September 18, it was revealed that Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, will still be her conservator after January 20, 2020. He recently stepped down from the position due to “personal health” reasons, and the pop star’s care manager, Jodi Montgomery, has taken over the responsibilities temporarily.

In another update, Britney’s father, Jamie, was also cleared of any wrong-doing after her ex, Kevin Federline, accused him of “battering” their teenage son, Sean, during a dispute that took place in August. Prosecutors said there was “insufficient proof” of child abuse, putting an end to the investigation.

Luckily, Sam has been staying by Britney’s side amid the drama involving her brood. The dynamic duo has been going strong since they were first romantically linked in 2016.

“Britney is very anxious and is trying her best not to let her family and legal situation worsen her anxiety,” a source exclusively told In Touch about how the pop star is coping with everything.

“She’s been really trying to use healthy tactics to counteract the anxiety,” the insider added. “Sam has been helping Britney every step of the way and trying to keep her mind off of things. He’s a good influence in that sense.”
