Although Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk are no longer an item, the former couple appears to be on good terms. While the parents to Lea De Seine attended the same BAFTAs afterparty on Sunday, February 2, they were cordial but not romantic, an onlooker exclusively tells In Touch.

“Bradley and Irina have put their differences aside and were friendly exes at the BAFTA Vogue and Tiffany’s afterparty,” the source explains of their encounter. “It was held at Annabel’s private members club which is a huge venue, so they could’ve easily avoided each other if they wanted to but they didn’t.”

While the two didn’t dodge each other at the event, they kept things civil. “They spoke briefly — probably around 5 minutes. You can tell they still care deeply for each other.  I couldn’t hear what they were saying but they were both smiling,” the onlooker elaborates.  “Bradley affectionately touched her arm. I don’t think they’re back on or anything like that because they didn’t leave together and spent most of the evening doing their own thing.”

Bradley, 45, and Irina, 34, went their separate ways back in June 2019, In Touch confirmed at the time. Prior to their split, a source told In Touch exclusively their breakup was inevitable. “Bradley and Irina have been on the verge of splitting for months but have tried to make it work for the sake of their daughter,” the insider revealed. They continued to reiterate their relationship troubles, adding that they “never had a strong foundation” and had “very little in common” apart from a “physical attraction.”

Despite uncoupling, the former flames will be forever bonded over their child. “Their daughter Lea is the best thing that’s ever happened to Bradley, so he doesn’t have any regrets,” another source told In Touch. “He’ll always care about Irina, but it’s reached the point where neither of them want to continue sacrificing their happiness to stay stuck in a bad relationship.”
