Brad Pitt Ready to Publicly Date Again After Putting Custody Battle With Angelina Jolie Behind Him

He’s starting fresh in 2019! It’s been a long and bitter road for famous exes Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but the two finally reached a custody agreement in November 2018, and now he’s ready to move on romantically. A source tells In Touch exclusively that he’s prepared to start dating again.

“Brad is telling friends that he’s finally ready to put his custody battle behind him and start publicly dating again,” an insider close to the War Machine actor, 55, tells In Touch.

“He was so conscious of not putting a foot wrong while he was trying to get his kids back that finding a new woman was the last thing on his mind,” the source said.

“But now it’s all sorted, he’s telling friends he’s open to set-up options,” the insider said. “Brad wants someone young, hot, and preferably famous enough to know how to deal with the inevitable heavy spotlight when he finally debuts a new relationship. He’s loving hanging out in LA’s rock scene right now so you can bet whomever his new girlfriend is, she’ll be well connected in those circles.”

Romance rumors have been swirling around Brad as of late, because the actor and Charlize Theron were reportedly spotted getting cozy together at an event on January 12. According to reports, the two first met while shooting a campaign for watch brand Breitling. If they are getting serious, this would mark his first public relationship since his split with Angelina, 43.

Angelina filed for divorce in August 2016, citing irreconcilable differences, and the exes have been duking it out in court ever since. One of their biggest disputes was over was custody of their six children — Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, Vivienne and Knox, both 10. Even though the former flames finally reached an agreement in November 2018, their divorce has yet to be finalized.
