Victory! Blac Chyna will have her day in court against the Kardashians regarding their alleged defamation of her and the subsequent financial damages, according to court documents obtained by In Touch Weekly. Her attorney, Lisa Bloom, also released a statement on Wednesday, Nov. 28.

“For over a year, Blac Chyna has been fighting to get her day in court against Robert Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner,” the statement read. “Chyna alleges that she was slut shamed, defamed, and the victim of a plot to kill her hit show, Rob and Chyna, causing her significant financial damages.”

According to the statement, “the court rejected the Kardashian family’s request to strike Chyna’s entire lawsuit… Chyna will therefore be permitted to have her day in court.” The next court date for the case will be on Monday, Jan. 7.

Previously, when Chyna reportedly blamed the KarJenner clan for the cancellation of her E! reality TV series, there were reports that the judge was leaning towards throwing out that part of her suit, because the contract Chyna signed gave the network the right to cancel her show at any time. But it sounds like the judge in this instance must think the model and reality TV star indeed has a case that should be heard.

Rob and Chyna have gone to court before, over custody of their daughter, Dream Kardashian, and for other legal issues. But this is a major break in this particular lawsuit, because the Kardashians wanted the whole thing thrown out. Instead, “all of Chyna’s legal claims stay in,” the statement read. The court did strike certain portions of certain paragraphs in the complaint, but the Kardashian family and Chyna will still go head-to-head in court in the near future.

“We look forward to getting a trial date next month and aggressively fighting for Chyna’s rights at trial,” the statement concluded. The rest of us will be waiting anxiously for that day, too.
