Jan. 16, 2016 will mark 19 years since Ennis *, *Bill Cosby’s then-27-year-old son, was shot and killed by a man named Mikhail Markhasev in what law enforcement authorities in LA believe was an attempted robbery.

And while the Ukrainian immigrant has since confessed to the crime, he recently sent a letter to Radar Online in which he seemingly denies allegations made in an upcoming “tell-all” called Cosby’s Love Child, which claims the since-disgraced comedian, 78, had his own son killed to prevent Ennis from revealing that the Cosby Show star fathered a “love child” out of wedlock.

“Ennis’ only fault was being in the path of a wicked idiot like myself,” the seemingly remorseful criminal, 36, writes.

“The senseless tragedy of his untimely death and the sacred sorrow experienced by his family is something that I hope you will never have to experience, and yet it happens daily in the world.”
