Bambi Benson Reveals What Made Her Take Lil’ Scrappy Back (EXCLUSIVE)

We now believe in happy endings! In an exclusive interview with In Touch, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Bambi Benson opened up about getting back together with rapper Lil’ Scrappy. Their relationship woes most definitely played out on the VH1 reality series — and we are seriously hoping that this time they stay together for good.

“His pursuit made me believe that he was really serious and willing to do anything to make our situation work. I was totally shocked, Scrapp is usually very stubborn and prideful so this was new to me. It showed a different side of him,” she said while promoting the Shimmer Living Foundation, which according to a statement “provides these young ladies with items and resources to minimize the chances of insecurities while participating in school activities, while also not being a distraction to other students.”

The couple split in June, though Scrappy recently made headlines with his “Find the Bam” campaign — which had fans helping him find Bambi, who had cut off communication after they ended things. However, don’t expect the Shimmer Elite Extensions founder to pack up and move down to Miami — or even join the Love & Hip Hop: Miami spin-off — now that the two are back on.

“Miami is beautiful, it’s always been a quick getaway for me and Scrapp knows this, so he’s been enticing me with this beautiful condo on the beach,” she explained. “I may be there a lot more but I definitely have made Atlanta my home and have a lot of business there — so it wouldn’t be a full on move. I don’t think that’s a part of my plan for now.”

And that’s not all! While fans are over the moon that the reality stars patched things up, Bambi also revealed that she is in a great place with Scrapp’s mother, Momma Dee. Their relationship is also exposed on Mona Scott Young’s successful TV show. “I’ve never really had an issue with his mom,” she revealed. “She actually really likes me, sometimes TV just makes people do what they think other people would be entertained by.”

Bambi is super passionate about her work with the foundation. In an exclusive statement to In Touch, she revealed, “Young women go through a lot and I’ve experienced moments when I felt insecure and wouldn’t participate in classroom activities because my hair wasn’t up to par or days when I ran out of deodorant and didn’t want to raise my hand. People take hair and hygiene care for granted and it’s so small to some people, but sometimes those little things go a long way in making a young girl feel confident, thus becoming more successful in the classroom.”
