Tragic news for the football family.
Baltimore Ravens player Tray Walker has died after a tragic dirt bike accident. The 23-year-old cornerback suffered serious injuries from the crash, which took place in Liberty City, Fla., on Thursday night, his agent Ron Butler revealed to ESPN on Friday.
The NFL confirmed his death later that evening and shared that the football star had been riding a dirt bike that collided with a sport utility vehicle at a Miami intersection.

"This is what I would be saying to you in the team meeting room if we were together today: There is a lot going on out there and you are going to be involved in tough and difficult situations," the team's coach, John Harbaugh, wrote in an open letter to his players. "You are making and will continue to make important choices pretty much every day. That’s okay. That’s our reality. It can even be very good to be put in different circumstances. To make it right, you are going to have to grow up fast. Probably faster than many of your friends and family."
"I am asking you to consider what is at stake in your life," John continued. "Consider what your thoughts, actions and choices mean to those around you. Live your life fully and with purpose. Have fun and share your happiness. Find Your Faith, and allow God to Grow Your Faith."
Tray's teammates, and other NFL stars, took to social media to share their thoughts and condolences with the family:
Man, my heart hurts with the news of Tray Walker. Life is too short, we must cherish everyday!! RIP Tray— Zach Ertz (@ZERTZ_86) March 18, 2016
Today we lost more than an athlete, we lost a son, a brother, a teammate, a classmate, a friend, and a GREAT person. You proved that something positive can come out of Miami Northwestern and off of 71st Street. You were loved by many in the community and looked upon as a role model. It's saddens me today knowing you were just scratching the surface and about to reach your full potential, but I know we serve a Mighty God who sits high and looks low and he has a plan for us all to prosper. Continue to watch over your family, teammates and loved ones. RIP Tray aka FreshKid. My condolences to the Walker family.
