Ever doubt going on that blind date? Audrey Roloff would tell you to think again. She shared a story on Instagram about the way she met Jeremy Roloff — yes, it was on a blind date — and it's seriously the sweetest thing ever. She gave intimate details about their relationship and exactly how long it took Jeremy to pop the question, which you can see in the video above.

Audrey told fans that after their first meeting, the two were on opposite pages when it came to their feelings. She said, "He was patiently persistent, I was stubborn and guarded." After Jeremy proposed years later, she wrote, "That's when we began three years of writing each other letters on our typewriters while we endured a long distance relationship. Our long-distance relationship ended in an unbreakable covenant on Sept. 20, 2014, and since then we have continued to grow in oneness, Godliness, and more in love… always more."

Lately I’ve been very moved by a Annie Dillard quote: “how we spend our days is, of course, how we will spend our lives.” The habits that we find ourselves in will be the image that defines our days as they turn into years. Time to alter some bad habits and to add some new ones. Join us in making 2018 “the art of rhythm.” I’m confident that 2019 will thank you for it! – I never posted our New Years family photo, here it is.

Jeremy shared his own version of the story writing that after the first date, "I fell in love, she did not." He also mentioned that it was his mom, Amy Roloff, who was the first person to find out that Audrey was the girl he wanted to marry. "We were friends for a year, I told my mom I was going to marry this girl."

He continued, "A couple hundred campfires and truck rides later, I asked her to be mine 10 days before moving to California, our love endured, and Sept. 20, 2014, we started our forever." While these two may have had a rocky start, things seemed to have all worked out in their favor — and their daughter Ember's.
