Wait a sec — are Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard still married? The former Counting On stars have had a stressful few months, to say the least, and now Jill is hinting that they may be on the rocks.

The mother-of-two took to Instagram Stories on Thursday, July 26 to reveal she’s “loving” a book titled, Letters to My Daughter: The Art of Being a Wife. According to Amazon, the piece explores the ups and downs of relationships and discourages divorce

“Radio personality and bestselling author Barbara Rainey knows firsthand the challenges newly married couples face,” the descriptions reads. “Dismayed by Hollywood depictions of marriage and the seemingly easy solution of divorce, she sees a desperate need for a voice of experience, a mentor who has been there and understands — and can encourage, coach, and care.” Hmm…

Of course, there are plenty of reasons the 27-year-old could (and should) be angry with her husband. After all, he did get them fired from her family’s hit show. Back in August, Derick tweeted transphobic comments towards Jazz Jennings, a 17-year-old transgender activist who stars on her very own TLC reality TV series, I Am Jazz. “What an oxymoron… a ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality,” he wrote at the time. “‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God.”

Unfortunately, the Twitter-loving dad just couldn’t stop there. In April, Derick took aim at Nate & Jeremiah by Design stars Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent. “What a travesty of family,” he wrote on a promo for the home improvement show. “It’s sad how blatant the liberal agenda is, such that it both highlights and celebrates a lifestyle so degrading to children on public television as if it should be normal.”

Most recently, Derick shared his unwarranted opinion on the cast of Lost in Transition. “I really hope this is a series showing the devastation that mental illness causes, rather than presuming these challenges are simply evidences of an improving society. #optimism.” Ugh.

In May, Jill seemingly hinted that she doesn’t necessarily agree with her husband’s controversial views. “To disagree doesn’t equal hate or judgment. Love doesn’t always equal approval,” she shared on Instagram. “Just because I disagree with my child on something doesn’t mean I hate him, and just because I love and forgive him doesn’t mean I approve of everything he does. You can be friends with, love, and care for people you don’t agree with 100%.”

In fact, some fans went so far as to say that if Derick were to propose today, Jill would turn him down. That said, the “d” word seems out of the question — simply because her conservative family wouldn’t allow it.
