Time flies! Ant Anstead revealed he is one very proud father while gushing over his daughter, Amelie, on her 17th birthday. The Wheeler Dealers host shared a montage of photos while reflecting on how much she has grown up.

“SEVENTEEN! Feels like 17 days ago you came into the world,” Ant, 41, wrote on September 29, praising her for becoming an “incredible young lady” who has an “impact” on everyone she meets. “You are a beacon of light. Never change, Ammo. Keep being you. Truly a best friend who inspires me daily.”

Ant’s daughter, Amelie, and son Archie, 14, are from a past relationship. The TV personality also shares son Hudson, 1, with now-ex Christina Anstead, who has two kids of her own, Taylor and Brayden, from her previous marriage to Tarek El Moussa.

Amelie sweetly called Ant her “best friend” in a heartwarming comment after he broke his silence about his split from his wife of two years on September 27

“Anyone who really knows me knows that I don’t like to share private matters publicly,” the father of three wrote about their highly publicized breakup. “I have remained silent while holding on to hope. I never gave up on us. I pray Christina’s decision brings her happiness.”

The Flip or Flop star, 37, broke hearts when she shockingly announced their “difficult decision to separate” via Instagram on September 18.

“We are grateful for each other and as always, our children will remain our priority,” Christina wrote alongside their throwback photo. “We appreciate your support and ask for privacy for us and our family as we navigate the future.”

Ant recently shut down speculation there was bad blood between him and Christina after sharing a photo from a father-son weekend he enjoyed.

“Due to some mean people, I have turned comments OFF! While we both appreciate words of support, please stop trying to diagnose from afar. It’s not fair,” he replied to the rumors. “Christina is fine. I am fine. And we remain good friends and will navigate this at our pace. Compassion and kindness are all that’s needed.”

Christina’s best friend, Cassie Zebisch, has since shared an update on how the HGTV star is coping post-breakup.

“Even though this is a really difficult time for Christina, she’s doing her best to tune out all the noise and focus her energy on her children and her work,” Cassie told People. “Even during the most challenging times, her resilience continues to inspire me every day.”
