Ansel Elgort Filled His Insta Feed With 17 Shirtless Selfies and People Have Questions: ‘You Good?’
Looking good, Ansel Elgort! So good, in fact, that the Baby Driver star uploaded a series of selfies — 17 to be exact — to Instagram on Tuesday, May 28, and people have questions.
Not only were fans confused as to why the 25-year-old blessed everyone’s newsfeed, but his famous friends were also perplexed. Jonathan Cheban asked, “You good? Lol,” while Diplo left a hand-on-face emoji. Ansel’s Divergent castmate Zoë Kravitz said, “Dude. What is happening right now? Lol.”
Meanwhile, Dancing With the Stars winner Nyle DiMarco loved what was going on. “OK, I ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE,” he wrote. Tommy Dorfman echoed a similiar sentiment, writing, “babe …”
Even Ansel’s longtime girlfriend, Violetta Komyshan, had to share her thoughts. “I think this one is the best, but they’re all pretty good, TBH,” she wrote on the third pic.
The New York native’s fans continued to speculate what he was thinking. One person wrote, “When you can’t choose one, so you post them all,” while another echoed, “Someone is feeling themselves tonight.” A third person chimed in, writing, “Quality content.”
However, several users were a bit concerned. One user wrote, “WTF is happening, Ansel?” while another person stated, “Watching this in real time is bizarre.” A third person was just in awe. “I’m so confused by this spam, but also I applaud thee,” they commented.
The “Supernova” crooner hadn’t posted on Instagram since April 26, where he shared a couple of photos from his time in Brazil. “2 days in Brazil for the launch of #PoloRedRush,” he captioned the photo of himself behind a DJ booth. “Party was really fun LOTS OF DOPE BRAZILIANS showed. Sad to leave, back to New York so fast. Just put up two @Spotify playlists, lots of my favorite songs with curation based on the polo fragrances. Link in bio for playlists. @backansel.”
There could be numerous answers as to why Ansel decided to stay up late posting on Insta, but he could just be trying to bring attention to himself since the trailer for his upcoming movie, The Goldfinch, is being released on Wednesday, May 29.
Well, whatever the reason, Ansel definitely made our day.
