Angelina Pivarnick Gushes Over Chris Larangeira Amid Wedding Speech Drama: ‘Thank You for Being My Rock’
Since Angelina Pivarnick‘s nuptials were interrupted thanks to her Jersey Shore costars, the 33-year-old has been pretty bummed. She took to Instagram to thank her hubby, Chris Larangeira for supporting her on Monday, November 25.
“Happiness is the key in any marriage and partnership 💒👰🏻🤵🏻🙏🏼. Thank you [Chris] for loving me for me and never letting things affect you … you are sooo [sic] strong,” the Jersey Shore star wrote in the caption of a photo from their big day. “I thank you for being my rock in such difficult times 💋. I wouldn’t be okay right now if you weren’t next to me. I love you.”
During Angelina’s reception, her Jersey Shore costars made a speech that didn’t go over very well. Deena Cortese, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley “made some jokes about Angelina,” a source told Us Weekly. “The audience at the wedding booed them,” the insider added.
Although the ladies were trying to be funny, Angelina found no humor in their jokes. “The jokes were all in good fun, but they didn’t land, and some didn’t think they were kind,” the source explained. “Angelina stormed off during the wedding and was upset about it. She was pissed. Now, she’s not talking to them. MTV filmed everything.”
Fans were upset for the “Kim Kardashian of Staten Island” and took their anger out on the culprits. Deena, 32, took to Instagram to clear the air after she received threatening messages from online trolls.
“Listen, I understand you’re all upset about our speech, but we also included nice things in it as well … we thought Angelina always says, ‘I never take myself seriously,’ she would truly laugh at the stuff we said,” she wrote in a now-deleted post, according to Us Weekly. “Clearly, we were wrong. We’re friggen [sic] human … people make mistakes. But wishing bad on my son … how are you any better?”
She added, “We truly thought she was going to laugh and right after we went into how lucky we are to have her in our lives, and she’s the sister we needed in the house.” Although she is at odds with her friends at the moment, at least she has her man to lean on.
