Two-and-a-half years after she filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie is feeling at ease. The estranged exes finalized their custody battle over Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 10, in December, and now she’s truly living her best life.

“Her focus is 100 percent on her children, and they love it,” a source told In Touch magazine, on newsstands now. “She’s never been more relaxed and at ease. It’s like she’s a whole new person.”

During a trip to NYC on February 25, the 43-year-old made a rare red carpet appearance with all six of her children at a screening of Netflix‘s The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. “Angie knows how blessed she is to be able to show her kids the world,” explained the insider. “Her hope is that they grow up to be caring individuals who want to make the world a better place.”

But while Angie has been making public appearances with her brood on the reg, Brad hasn’t been seen with them in years … over 900 days, to be exact. That said, he does hang out with them behind closed doors.

“Brad is spending plenty of time with his kids — at his home,” a separate source told In Touch last month. “He just isn’t parading them around like Angelina has been doing.” Ouch.

Luckily, it sounds like the kiddos are getting tons of quality time with their parents, and Angelina, in particular, knows time is fleeting. “She sees how quickly they’re growing up. Maddox driving and wanting to get his own place — that pretty much slapped her into reality,” said the first insider. “She wants to be there for them and cherish every second.

They concluded that, despite the drama, the kids have been seeing a kinder, more gentle Ang. “She’s meditating more than ever and spending time with friends she trusts and, of course, the kids. Angie is in a really good place right now.”
