Angelina Jolie Celebrated Her Daughter Shiloh’s 13th Birthday in a Big Way — Find Out What Went Down!

If your mom is one of the biggest stars on the planet, you better believe your birthday is going to be a memorable one, and Angelina Jolie‘s daughter Shiloh knows all about that as she recently celebrated officially becoming a teen.

The 43-year-old and Shiloh, now 13, were spotted at The Basement LA on Monday, May, 27, Closer Weekly has learned. The actress’ other kids — Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, both 10 — were at the celebration, as well as a group of the Oscar-winner’s pals. All of the invitees got quite the fun night too, as the group of family and friends spent hours going through immersive escape rooms — they actually all successfully escaped: The Elevator Shaft, The Study, The Basement and The Courtyard.

When they weren’t going above and beyond to escape certain rooms, Angelina and her kids enjoyed a performance from a magician. To top it all off, custom birthday cakes were served. Now that’s how you celebrate a birthday.

Unfortunately, the kids’ dad, Brad Pitt, wasn’t able to make it to the big bash, as he is currently in Europe following a trip to the Cannes Film Festival. The 55-year-old attended the event to premiere his new film with Leonardo DiCaprio, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The movie has already received rave reviews.

It is quite clear that the former Hollywood couple are all about their children and are doing everything in their power to raise bright kids — and it seems to be working. An insider exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly that Shiloh and her brother Knox have stood out as some of the best in their robotics class.

Robotics is a subject the two youngsters “have been studying for some time now and they absolutely love it,” the source revealed. “They get to be really creative and mix with other children, while exploring their own creative ideas and working on team projects. Angelina and Brad want them to be able to spend time in different environments and learn how to work as a team. They are very bright kids and definitely have an intellectual future ahead of them.”
