She survived living in a jungle, drinking a cow-intestine milkshake and being physically and verbally attacked by camp villain Spencer Pratt, but comedian Angela V. Shelton couldn't elude the first elimination on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
After spending four long days in the jungle and having to put up with all manner of horrors, she's glad to be out of there. "Being eliminated wasn't that bad," Angela says. "I am grateful to have been able to bring home what I did for my charity, Covenant House, so I am grateful to America in a way. But the second I crossed that bridge, I had something to eat, then I showered for like an hour, but I am still jungle-y. It was really hard."
With her nine fellow contestants left to battle it out for another three weeks on the show, and the imminent return of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who quit the show after three days and are now begging to return, Angela believes the game is anyone's and is saying to watch Torrie Wilson and former American Idol hopeful Sanjaya Malakar, as he is one with the jungle. "He doesn't care," she laughs. "But he is getting bored, he wants to sing but he can't because the music has to be cleared. He needs a 19-year-old friend to play with."
In the meantime, it's back to work for Angela and all about recovery. "I'm covered in bites and having reactions to them," she reveals. "I'm covered in calamine lotion and trying to not to scratch them. But I will never go to a jungle again for any reason."

"I will never go to a jungle again for any reason"
How does everyone feel about Janice Dickinson, as she can be larger than life?
Angela: We have been calling her crazy auntie Janice. She's hysterical, a huge personality, and there are times when the jungle drama grates on you and it can be difficult, but I know it would be hysterical fun to hang out with her. But you are together 24 hours and it gets to people. Her bronchial situation that requires her to spit everywhere - kinda willy-nilly - that has been tough for everyone. And she hasn't been working as hard as we'd have liked to see.
Is she the jungle thief we keep hearing about?
Angela: There is talk of the thief, but we are all guilty of this in the jungle, and that is when you can't find something, and then you do. But my shower kit went missing and I needed my hair pic, and I kept asking where it was. Then Janice went to the bathroom and I thought, let me check Jungle Thief's bag - and there it was. She may have just put it there because before the live show, Janice likes to clean. It's weird because it's like, "You are cleaning the jungle, you realize?" She's all, "We have to clean the floor!" I'm saying, "Janice, it's dirt!" She puts things under things when she cleans, so it might have just been that.
Will you keep in touch with anyone from the show?
Angela: I'd love to keep in touch with everyone except Heidi and Spencer. They are worse than what you saw. They never helped once. He attacked me! I think he is very unhinged, and I am still trying to figure out how he passed the psych evaluation - and by what margin. But he will tell you he is crazy - he knows it. I don't know him that well and no one really did. They did not spend much time with us. They were either asleep of off in front of a camera alone and did not participate. When they were there, they were just hollering about their products and endorsements and money.
They quit like three times. Did you think they meant it - will they be back?
Angela: It seemed like more than that. They quit a good 10-20 times. It was ridiculous. I knew they'd be back in the morning and sure enough, there they'd be. And I don't think anyone has a choice about them coming back. We voted no and it's still an issue. These people are all about giving people chances, and if Speidi can come back and be part of the team, I know they will be accepted - these people are not grudge-holders. I have never seen them do any work even on their other show, so I am not sure if work is something they are familiar with. They are pretty closed-off, and I am not sure if them getting back on the show has anything with them participating in it. They also operate on a different form of energy than the rest of us, which might in fact be the dark forces. Just because they got out, relaxed and had a decent meal, no, they shouldn't be able to come back at all.
What was the lowest thing they did on the show?
Angela: Their attacks on people were personal and un-provoked. Beyond attacking and being physically threatening to me, Spencer said the only thing Torrie Wilson could do was sell steroids. He made a joke about me being overweight. I just looked at him and said, "You are so sweet." They take low blows. I was like, "Do you think I don't know I am fat? Really, you are [clueing me in] to something!" But they are kids and immature, and that's what kids do when they get in a playground. That's about the depth of their level of analysis.
