He may be done with ex Amber Portwood, but that doesn’t mean Teen Mom OG star Andrew Glennon is ready to have fans speculating about any new relationships. After the father of one posted a new photo of his son on Instagram with a mystery woman’s hand in the shot, his comments were inundated with questions and concerns from fans who couldn’t help but wonder if he had a new lady friend already. When he shut down the rumors, he didn’t hold back — and it turned into some serious back and forth between the MTV star and his social media trolls. Family Drama

Things have been complicated between Andrew, 35, and Amber, 29, ever since he called (well, texted) the police about their alleged domestic violence incident that went down on the 4th of July.

Silent Treatment

Things took a turn for the worse when the father filed for sole custody of their son, James, and even managed to get a no-contact order preventing his ex from reaching out to him.

Shady Posts

Though Andrew appeared to be doing his best to keep their back-and-forth contained to the courts instead of spilling out onto social media sites, a source told Us Weekly that his recent Instagram posts may not be what they seem.

Subtle Jabs

“Andrew seems more concerned with public perception,” the insider said. “Andrew took James for a haircut and has posted many pictures of James. … Andrew is rubbing it in Amber’s face that she can’t be with her son [outside of supervised visits].

Purposeful Posts

Calling the father of one a “dirty fighter,” the source even suggested that he may be more responsible for the 4th of July incident than he lets on. “He was saying a lot of nasty things to her.”

Lashing Out

Claiming that Andrew was verbally attacking his girlfriend and using “hurtful and personal” jabs, the source said the star was acting out “as if to antagonize” Amber into getting physical.

Clearing the Air

However, the star was quick to deny those allegations. “Amber needs help,” he told Us. “The sooner she acknowledges that, the healthier and happier she will be.”

Pointing Fingers

He also suggested that it was his ex who was the one being nasty online, not him. “[She is] quick to attack by posting accusatory messages and deleting them,” he said.

Making Excues

“[She is] grasping for any forgivable explanation to her own actions when there was none,” he continued. “Just like it has been in past incidents.” Instead, he’s just focused on “taking care of [his] beautiful son and keeping him safe.”

Losing His Temper

That might be why he lost it when fans saw his latest photo of baby James. On the edge of the photo, a woman’s hand could be seen resting on the little boy’s chair, and fans couldn’t help but wonder who it belonged to.

Clapping Back

When they asked, though, Andrew didn’t take it well. “Who’s the woman in the picture? That’s definitely a woman’s hand and nails,” noticed a fan. “Lol, you know, just a random prostitute off Instagram,” the star snarked back. “Get a life [and] exit mine. Thank you.”

Call Out

“You’re a creepy photo policewoman and clearly missed the simplicity of this post,” he continued. And the comments just kept coming after that.

Hunting Trolls

In another response, the star wrote, “‘Is that his momma’s hand?’ would probably be a more appropriate approach. You’re a liar and backtracking, but whatevs, it’s your comment.”

Single Life

In regards to rumors the mystery woman was his new lady, Andrew shot back, “I need a [girlfriend] like a bullet in the head. Carry on.” Eventually, however, he did explain just who she was.

Simple Explanation

“Since you absolutely must know, it’s our neighbor who invited James and I over for burgers,” he said. “She’s known Amber through her ‘Matt Days,’ and her and her husband have been the kindest hearted people to James and I through this whole mess. Totally unbiased and sweet.”

Mommy Problems

Though pretty much no one thought the mystery hand belonged to James’ mom, Amber, he did eventually touch on that subject, too, addressing why the couple is no longer together and where things went wrong.

Reaching Out

“I’ve made that cry for help on her behalf to literally everyone in her life,” he opened up about his ex. “All landed on deaf ears of denial. She said herself to her psychiatrist that she felt like a ticking time bomb and didn’t want the relationship to be sabotaged. He did nothing. Just wrote a ‘child’s dose’ of medication.”

Protective Father

“It’s the saddest outcome, it was avoidable, but no one wanted to give support … or maybe they just didn’t know what to do. I did my damnedest to keep everything together, researching new therapies, coming up with alternatives that just weren’t heard and now this,” Andrew said. He finished his comment simply: “James deserves better.”
