So sad.

Amy Schumer opened up about her father, Gordon’s, battle with multiple sclerosis during an interview with Barbara Walters for ABC’s Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2015.

The actress revealed her dad, who lives full-time in a health facility, is “not good," adding that she was only 12-years-old when he was diagnosed.

“Some days he's really good and he's with it and we're joking around," Amy told Barbara. "And some days I go to visit my dad and it's so painful. I can't believe it."

So — how does the comedienne cope with her father’s illness?

"In terms of my dad being sick, it was just confusing to me, especially the way MS works," she said. "He was in physical pain. That's when I kind of took the lead and took care of everybody in my family. I would keep them — I would keep everybody laughing."

Well — laughter is the best medicine and we're sure Amy is always giving her family a healthy dose!
