Alexis and Fetty’s one-year-old daughter was born three months premature and reportedly suffers from hydrocephalus, which causes bleeding and fluid in the brain. According to reports, Alaiya had to have surgery to repair a malfunctioning implant in her brain that helps it drain.

It’s been a scary weekend for Alexis and her rapper ex. “Prayers please for my baby,” the 24-year-old reality star captioned her first post alongside prayer hands, a red heart and sad-face emoji. Only a few hours later, Alexis had some good news for her concerned followers.

“Surgery went well, thank you GOD,” she wrote. The LHHNY star later thanked fans for their ongoing support and kind words. “Lay Lay is good,” the mother-of-one captioned her snap on January 28.

Alexis and Fetty, 27, whose real name is Willie Maxwell II, have reportedly remained by Alaiya’s side as she recovers. The reality star even called her baby girl “my best friend, my everything.” Alexis welcomed Alaiya on January 4, 2018, and recently celebrated her 1st birthday with a heartfelt post. “My biggest blessing. Happy first b-day. I love you babygirl I got you forever,” she wrote.

The Love & Hip Hop alum and Fetty are no longer together, but they do their best to co-parent their baby girl. Alexis has most recently been linked to Rob Kardashian and romance rumors were fueled when he took to social media calling her his “WCW” a.k.a. “Woman Crush Wednesday.” As of now, Alexis has been just spending time with her daughter as she focuses on getting her back to health. We wish her and Fetty all the best during this tough time.
