Abbie Grace Burnett Allegedly Wears Shorts on Unchaperoned Date With John David Duggar

#FreeAbbie! John David Duggar‘s new fiancée, Abbie Grace Burnett, was allegedly spotted wearing shorts (gasp!) — but here’s the real kicker: She was also on an unchaperoned date! The Counting On stars announced their engagement late last month, and despite being 26 and 28 years old respectively, they’ve been breaking a ton of Jim Bob‘s rules lately.

According to the anti-Duggar Facebook group, Duggar Family News: Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray, the admin revealed, “I just heard that John and Abbie were spotted today unchaperoned at the Tontitown Grape Festival… and Abbie was wearing shorts!” They added, “I put you who want to play sleuth in charge of finding a photo. Good luck and God speedo.” Here’s to hoping they had a glass of wine, too!

Recently, Jabbie (can we make that nickname stick?) were spotted out in public and broke two major courtship rules. According to photos obtained by the Pickles and Hairspray page, they popped into a Walmart on Tuesday, June 26 — and there was hearsay of a butt grab! The insider claimed that at one point, “John grabbed Abbie’s a–,” which goes against the Duggar’s strict policy on no physical contact before they’re at least engaged.

Oh, and let’s not forget that Abbie recently wore pants, too. The reality star was seen sporting a pair of jeans and a “Coca-Cola” top, which is definitely not appropriate in Duggarville. TLC once reported that the famous fam must “dress modestly to impress.” According to the site, “You won’t catch any of the Duggar girls in trendy crop tops or mini skirts. Instead, they practice modest dress, which means keeping shoulders, thighs, and cleavage covered. Not only does it prevent distractions while dating, but it also ‘keeps the relationship pure’ according to Michelle.” And sure, her thighs may have been covered, but wearing tight skinny jeans is hardly modest!

John and Abbie announced they were an item on June 26, and less than a month later on July 25, they revealed they were engaged. Not surprisingly, the happy couple broke a Duggar family record for having the shortest courtship of all time. In other words? We can expect a wedding, like, this month.
