Abbie Grace Burnett Learns How to Cut Husband John David Duggar’s Hair: ‘He’s a Brave Soul’

Abbie Grace Burnett just learned how to cut her husband John David Duggar’s hair for the first time and apparently, she got a few tips from her pregnant sister-in-law Jessa Duggar. The Counting On star praised her hubby for being a “brave soul” as she showed off her newfound trimming skills via social media on February 1. Fans were getting a kick out of the new photos of Abbie, 26, grooming John David, 29, on Instagram and several were sounding off in the comment section. “Omg this just made me giggle, I love John’s face,” one wrote alongside a laughing and heart emoji. “He’s so in love, he wouldn’t care what she did to his hair,” another sweetly chimed in, before a third noted, “You have a pro in Jessa showing you the ropes, so you are in good hands! I am sure you will do awesome Abbie.”
John David’s family members also showed some love as well. Anna Duggar wrote, “Aw! I’m sure it was his favorite haircut ever,” while Jana Duggar added, “You’re amazing Abbie! You did a great job!” John David and his twin sister, Jana, recently celebrated turning 29 on January 12 and they were showered with kind-hearted messages from their famous brood.
“Happy 29th birthday to our first set of twins, John David and Jana! It has been an absolute joy to be your parents for the past 29 years! We are so thankful for you both and the deep love and commitment you both have for Christ! We can’t wait to see what the next year will bring for your lives and love you both so very much!” Michelle and dad Jim Bob wrote on the family’s IG page.
Meanwhile, it’s been an exciting few months for John David and his new wife Abbie. The couple shared their first kiss in November at their wedding, and they’ve since enjoyed their first Christmas together as husband and wife. “I love spending each and every day with you,” they gushed in the caption of a cuddly pic posted on December 14. Now that she’s practicing cutting his hair, we’re sure she’ll be a pro in no time!
