Reality star Angela Deem’s daughter, Scottie Deem, was charged with multiple counts of child molestation back in September 2018, and she’s now been convicted on three separate counts. While Angela has yet to release an official statement on the matter, the 90 Day Fiancé alum did take to Facebook with some cryptic messages in the wake of her daughter’s conviction.

As we previously reported, Scottie was convicted on three offenses of child molestation, which took place on July 1, 2017, according to offender records obtained by In Touch from the Georgia Department of Corrections. She’s serving three concurrent 20-year sentences, and began her time behind bars in Pulaski State Prison on February 1, 2019. Scottie only has to serve the first two years and one day “in confinement” and will be released on probation for the duration of the time.

'90DF' Star Angela Deem Posted About 'People Trying to Destroy' Her Following Daughter's Conviction

Shortly after Scottie went to prison, her mother, Angela, took to Facebook with a message on March 4. “Sometimes people try to destroy you, precisely because they recognize your power — not because they don’t see it, but because they see it and don’t want it to exist.” Prior to that, Angela shared another post which read, “If you think I’m a bitch you should meet my smart ass daughter.”

On February 28, Angela posted an inspiring message on her page about having hope and faith even in tough times. “No matter what you face in life, don’t let go of God’s hands,” it read.

The reality star’s daughter, Scottie, reportedly committed the sex crimes while her boyfriend was out of town between July 2017 and August 2017. She was accused of having sexual intercourse with a juvenile two to three times at her home.

TLC has not commented on Scottie’s conviction, but Angela reportedly has started filming again, so it looks like her time on the show isn’t over.
