Do 90 Day Fiancé stars Geoffrey Paschel and Varya Malina still have a shot at making their relationship work? On the Sunday, May 24, episode of Before the 90 Days, the Tennessee native admitted he still “loves” his ex despite dumping her when she rejected his proposal in Russia. After the brunette beauty made a surprise trip to the States in the previous week’s show and came face-to-face with his new girlfriend, the pair finally sat down to have a tough conversation about where they stand.

“I love you. I do. I don’t fall in love and then fall out of love, you just don’t do that. … This is a hard situation,” Geoffrey, 41, told Varya, 30, after she told him he “needed to decide” who he wanted. “You’re jumping to, we’re gonna just jump right back into our situation and our relationship. … I don’t know that I’m there yet,” he continued. “This is a surprise for me.”

In a confessional, he explained, “I’ve got two women in my life right now that are vying for my attention. Varya came all the way from Russia to try to reenergize our relationship where it’s [fallen] out. … And then you have Mary [who is] a complete innocent in this. I feel very, very bad for her.” Though he was the one that told Varya he was done and moved on, it was only because she shut down his proposal. “She’s done a complete 180 on her feelings,” he told the cameras. “And it’s hard for me to know or not whether it’s genuine.”

Ultimately, the American decided to give his ex a chance and let her stay for the two-week trip she’d planned so they could “see where things go” between them. Unfortunately, that decision led to even more drama when he brought the Russian radio host along to a group hang he was supposed to attend with Mary. Though Geoffrey wanted to give Varya a chance, his friends weren’t so understanding — and neither was Mary when she eventually showed up.

In the preview for the next episode, it looks like the two women will be facing off once again, and things are bound to get ugly. Ultimately, it seems like only Geoffrey will be able to settle this feud.
