Ditching her rainbow-colored locks for a good cause! 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Erika Owens shaved off her hair on September 10 to support Australia’s Cancer Council “in their mission to raise funds and awareness” for the disease.

The season 4 alum documented the entire process on social media, previously confirming her amazing stylist and friend Victoria would be doing the honors.

“New hair, same old me. It feels f–king great to say goodbye to this chapter of my life but it feels even better that we’re less than $3000AUD until we reach my $10,000 goal for the Cancer Council!” she wrote on Friday, September 11.

On August 17, Erika revealed what inspired her to take action in a post on social media, while reflecting on how grateful she is for her time on the TLC series.

“I never imagined this year I would be given a platform like this — with almost half a million people following my every move — I want to use this platform for good and challenge myself to do something I never thought I’d do,” the TV personality wrote in her caption.

In a fundraiser description, the star also noted her hair is a “huge part” of her identity as it has been her “signature look.” Erika admitted “giving it up is going to be extremely hard.” However, she was ready to go for it to support cancer research and provide vital services to others with the sponsorships that would come from her brave deed.

Erika said she and her new boyfriend, Chris, would be donating $1,000 from OnlyFans as well as their own personal donations towards the cause.

The influencer went public with her new love in late July, following news she parted ways from ex-girlfriend Stephanie Matto. At the time, Erika posted a PDA-filled snap of her and Chris checking out the views at Innes National Park.

“You make me feel every single colour of the rainbow,” she gushed in the caption of their sweet hand-holding photo. “I can’t wait to see the world together and make every minute a grand adventure. So thankful and so, so happy.”

Erika also told trolls to leave “any bi-phobic comments at the door” in her message. “I’m still here, still queer and being with this amazing human now doesn’t mean I’m not bisexual and it does NOT invalidate my sexuality. Much love.”
