Making peace? 90 Day Fiancé star Ed Brown alienated his daughter, Tiffany Brown, over his relationship with Rosemarie Vega — and once his romance was over, he was ready to apologize. Admitting he was “selfish,” the TLC personality met with his only child so they could talk about what happened on the Sunday, May 31, episode of Before the 90 Days.

“I’m just ready to mend my relationship with my daughter,” Ed, 54, told cameras on the show. “Tiffany and [my] relationship, before I left [to visit Rose in the Philippines], was pretty much over. She thought I was making a devastating mistake. I’ve been wanting to tell her what happened, but I’m not really sure what Tiffany’s gonna say to me or how she’s going to react.” Calling his daughter the “most important person his life,” he admitted it’s been “really hard” to get the silent treatment from her.

Luckily, Tiffany, 29, cooled down after the father-daughter duo got into an explosive fight on the phone when he first broke the news about his much younger girlfriend. When he finally reached out to ask her to talk, she was willing to meet up with him in a local park. But that doesn’t mean she was ready to simply forgive and forget.

“I tried to warn you,” the real estate agent told her dad. “I was upset that [you are] old enough to be her dad, and I was like, ‘What are you doing?’ I’m 29. What do you have in common with her? Like, I just … It was hard because you were blowing me off and essentially saying, ‘Eff you. I don’t care, I’m just gonna do whatever.’”

After Tiffany explained her point of view, dad Ed finally started to get it. “I was selfish, and I’m sorry,” he told his daughter. “One thing I definitely want you to know is that you were and are and have always been the love of my life, and we have such a great foundation. … I did realize, ‘Wow, I just probably flushed that all down the toilet,’ and that’s what scares me the most. … But, for what it’s worth, I’m sorry for not listening to you and the fact that I hurt you.” After he admitted he was a “dumbass,” she revealed she appreciated his apology.

Their relationship may not be fully healed just yet, but it seems like they’ve come a long way.
