90 Day Fiancé alum Darcey Silva claimed she and ex Jesse Meester planned to have a baby prior to their split during a therapy session on the Sunday, August 30, episode of her new spinoff, Darcey & Stacey.

“I want to be open to love in the right way. Release past baggage and not bring that into something new,” she said in her confessional, explaining the reason she decided to attend therapy. Darcey, 45, wanted to discuss the hardships she experienced in previous relationships so they wouldn’t deter her from being as happy as could be with new boyfriend Georgi Rusev.

When asked about the most “significant” issues bothering her, the TLC alum said she wanted to come to terms with old wounds. She addressed “toxic” partners, “red flags” that were ignored, as well as the impact of “age differences.”

“Jesse and I said we loved each other. We said we wanted a future together and he wanted a child,” she claimed in her confessional. “Talked about IVF. We wanted a boy, even named him Maximus. I just don’t know why you would say all those things and then treat me the way he treated me,” Darcey continued.

The TV personality told her therapist she felt confused because she wanted more out of their relationship. “We just never got to that stage [of engagement]. I mean, he gave me a promise ring,” she said. As a result, her “self-worth felt lower” prior to their breakup, which aired on 90 Day Fiancé in September 2018.

Darcey said the last time she felt “safe” and could trust a person was with her most recent former flame, Tom Brooks, but that feeling didn’t last.

“I thought he really loved me,” she explained, noting they had a lot more in common before calling it quits. Darcey revealed she was tired of being in romances that made her feel less than desirable and “not good enough.”

The reality star later opened up about her childhood, saying her father was not always around because he was working hard to provide for their family, so she often would lean on her brother, Michael. She fought back tears while revealing Michael died at the young age of 27 following a battle with cancer.

It looks like Darcey is ready to embark upon a new chapter and leave those feelings of hurt behind. “I’ve had a long journey with relationships and now that I’ve fully concluded my Jesse and Tom stories, I am finally excited about what the future holds,” she told Entertainment Weekly ahead of the premiere.

“I am at a stage in my life where I am happy with my life and I’m staying strong for me and my daughters and my family,” she added. “And I’m so excited to dive deeper into our family life on the new show, past, present, and future.”

Darcey & Stacey airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. on TLC.
