Just what is going on with Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno? On May 22, the American reality star hopped on Instagram to share some not-so-nice memes about her sister-in-law, Nicole. TBH, this has become part of a pattern. Split rumors have been swirling around the 90 Day Fiancé couple for months, and ever since they came back for Happily Ever After season 4, they’ve been shading each other’s family members on social media non-stop. Does this mean that they their relationship really has fallen apart? Or is this just the usual in-law drama that they’re always facing? 90 Day Fiance Chantel Pedro Still Together

Chantel, 27, has had beef with Pedro’s family for a while.

If you look back at the history of their relationship, the drama started pretty much on day one. Three years later, they still haven’t managed to shake it, regularly fighting both on-screen and off.

Chantel and Nicole Jimeno just don’t get along.

Though tensions were already high before the “divorcia te en punto” incident, we’re pretty sure that the Georgia native will never be able to move past her belief that her sister-in-law called her a bitch.

Of course, that’s not what really happened.

Pedro’s sister, Nicole, actually just told her brother to divorce his wife “period,” but “punto” sounds a lot like “puta,” and every time the argument comes up, Chantel seems convinced that her husband is just covering for his sister rather than telling the truth.

The drama isn’t just between Chantel and the Jimenos.

Pedro, 27, also has his share of drama with the Everetts. In a clip from season 4 of Happily Ever After, his mother-in-law, Karen, even threatens to shock him with a taser.

A few weeks back, Pedro started the shade train.

After Chantel hinted at a possible split in early May, he took to Instagram to share a colorful joke at Karen Everett’s expense on May 6. On his Instagram story, he called her out with a meme.

The image showed a snake biting a man’s face.

As a caption, Pedro added the text, “The kiss of the mother-in-law,” calling it a “graphic description.” Though we don’t blame him for firing back after Karen suggested she might introduce him to Shocky, it was the first time we’d seen that kind of behavior from the star on social media.

And he didn’t stop.

A few days later, he did it again. On May 8, he shared a photo of a bottle of industrial strength Gorilla Glue, calling it “lipstick for mothers-in-law.” Though we have to admit we’re pretty impressed by his command of grammar (maybe he’s better at speaking English than he pretends to be!), we’re also blown away by his brazenness.

Then, Chantel got in on the action.

Not one to be left out when it comes to mud-slinging, she started posting her own memes about in-laws. On May 10, she posted an image that showed a cartoon woman toasting mothers-in-law everywhere.

The caption was brutal.

“A toast to the mother-in-laws [sic] that try to micro-manage their adult sons’/daughters’ love lives, but have never had a successful one themselves. … Here’s to you bitches!”

It’s a full yikes.

And you know that Chantel knew just what she was doing. Not long before, she had confirmed to fans that she and Pedro’s family were still not on good terms. When a fan asked how her relationship was with Nicole so long after their big blow-out, Chantel confirmed it was “the same.”

She even claimed that her in-laws ruined vacations.

Though she loves the Dominican Republic, the country where she met her husband, she doesn’t like to go anymore because it’s where Pedro’s sister and mom still live. “It is beautiful, but my in-laws taint the experience for me,” she told a fan.

Now, she’s sharing another meme.

On May 22, she took aim at her sister-in-law, Nicole. Though she kept the first image she shared on her Instagram Story vague enough that it could’ve been about anyone, the second image cleared things up.

The first one didn’t call anyone in particular out.

“If you are talking behind my back, then you are in a perfect position to kiss my ass!” read the text. Chantel didn’t add a caption of her own, but a few minutes later, she followed it up with a second meme.

This one was more specific.

“I don’t hate you because your [sic] my sister-in-law,” it read. “I hate you because when you open your mouth, you sound like a f–king idiot!” Dang, Chantel, don’t hold back!

This is par for the course lately.

And honestly, we just want to know what’s going on behind the scenes. Happily Ever After is still airing its current season, and the couple also has their own spinoff, The Family Chantel, on the way. But we don’t know when exactly these shows stopped filming.

Have Chantel and Pedro actually split?

And if so, how long have they been separated? Did it start months ago and the social media jabs are just starting now? Or are they just playing up the drama for their audience at home?

They’d hardly be the first ’90DF’ couple to lie.

More than a few couples have opened up about playing out their on-screen drama off-screen so that they don’t spoil their storyline for fans — and considering the buzz it gets them, we wouldn’t be surprised if Chantel and Pedro were doing the same. But until they confirm or deny the rumors, we’ll be over here keeping an eye on everything.
