’90 Day Fiancé: What Now?’ Star Tarik Shares Sweet Tribute to Hazel: She ‘Amazes Me’

Fans were first introduced to Tarik, Hazel and his brother Dean on season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. The couple met on a dating app, and they documented their first time meeting in person after dating long distance after Tarik traveled all the way from Virginia Beach, Virginia to Manila, Philippines.

Their trip seemed to go smoothly until Tarik’s brother showed up and stirred up some drama.

Things got really heated during one particular scene where Dean grilled Hazel about her past.

During a dinner, Dean asked Hazel if she has children. She told him that she has one child, a son.

Then, Dean asked her why her son wasn’t with her, and she explained why her baby daddy currently has custody of their child.

“My son lived with me when he was three years old. I love him but I didn’t have enough money and so I give my son to his father,” Hazel revealed.

“If I have a good future with Tarik, I want to get my son again,” she added.

But her answer did not seem to not sit well with Dean, and he was upset that Hazel gave up custody of her son.

“It says a lot about a woman depending [on] how hard she fights for her kids about that woman’s character, you know?” he said.

At that point, Tarik got upset at his brother for disrespecting Hazel and implying that she wasn’t a good mother or a good person.

Tarik and Hazel got up to leave, which led to an argument between the brothers and their fight got heated.

But it seemed like Dean meant well, even though he may have went about it the wrong way. He was trying to understand what type of mother Hazel is, because Tarik is a parent as well.

Tarik is a father to a 6-year-old little girl named Ariella and she has high-functioning autism.

If Hazel’s K-1 visa gets approved, she will be able to enter the United States legally. After landing in America, she will have 90 days marry Tarik — which means she will also be a stepmother to Ari.

But it looks like Tarik is very confident in Hazel’s mothering skills. On Mother’s Day 2019, he took to Instagram to share a very heartfelt message to his future bride.

“This mother never imagined the ugliness of public life. This mother quietly perseveres through ignorant ridicule and refuses to retaliate. This mother remains silent while clueless people tell her about her life. This mother has never once taken the low road to fight back which amazes me,” Tarik wrote.

“I see this mother’s bond with her child up close. Even a loving, ever present father like me can never understand what makes a mother, a mother. #Tarzel,” he added.

Hazel commented on his sweet post and thanked fans. “Thank u very much 4 da greetings of mothers day 2 me. happy mothers day to all of you.😘😘😘😘💃,” she wrote.

As fans know from this current season of What Now?, Tarik and Hazel are anxious to tie the knot. They’re just waiting for Hazel’s K-1 visa to be approved so they can finally get married and start their lives together in America.
