’90 Day Fiancé’ Couple Steven and Olga Went From A Summer Fling To Starting A Family
Will they be able to make it work? 90 Day Fiancé couple Steven and Olga made their debut on this week’s episode of the hit reality TV series, and they shared their sweet love story with fans. The couple met during the summer and while they didn’t expect their fling to last very long, they were thrown a curveball when they found out that Olga was pregnant! Now, cameras are documenting Steven and Olga’s journey to reuniting and raising their son together as a family.
Steven is a 20-year-old waiter from Bowie, MD. He didn’t graduate high school and a lot of his teen years was filled with partying — and he eventually landed himself in trouble and was arrested for graffiti. When he was 16 years old, his mother kicked him out of the house and he had been spending his time bouncing around between his grandmother’s house and a friend’s house while spending his summers in Ocean City — which is where he met Olga.
“I did have my moments where I was kind of a little player, but all of that suddenly changed as soon as I met Olga,” he said in his confessional. “She’s from Russia. I was intrigued by her accent. I loved it. I never really met anyone that’s quite like Olga. She’s an adventurous person. The places that she’s been, the things that she’s done. Olga’s a smart, funny, outgoing, and like, she’s smoking hot. I scored the hottest girl on the beach.”
Since Olga was only visiting for the summer, they decided to keep their relationship strictly as a fling and they enjoyed the time they spent together. But they were only together for a month and a half when they found out that Olga, 20, was pregnant.
Steven said that as soon as they found out Olga was pregnant, he knew that he wanted to be involved in their child’s life because his father died when Steven was seven years old, so he knew what it was like to grow up without a dad. “I’m going to be able to do all of the things that I always wanted to do with my own dad,” he said.
They found out that Olga was pregnant two weeks before she had to return to Russia. Olga and Steven continued their romance in a long distance relationship, and they decided that it would be best to raise their child together as a family so Steven proposed and then they applied for the K-1 visa. But Olga’s visa has not been approved yet and he missed out on her entire pregnancy, so he jetted off to Russia so that he reunite with Olga and so he could be there for the birth of his son.
90 Day Fiancé airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on TLC.
