Paola and her hubby, Russ Mayfield, became parents for the first time on New Year’s Day. Since then, they’ve both been sharing adorable family photos and updates about their growing son on social media, much to the delight of fans. Paola, 31, recently treated her Instagram followers to a photo showing off her post-baby body alongside a positive message.
“I can’t believe my body birthed a baby almost a month ago,” Paola wrote on February 1. “I’m still healing inside and out. No matter how crazy my body has changed, I just love the fact that I’m a mom of an amazing son!” The reality star continued, “There’s nothing wrong with big boobs and a big butt. I’m Latina and don’t like to be skinny! Honestly, I’m loving my curves!”
The TLC star is very much enjoying her new morning routine with Axel and she even shared a “bonding” breastfeeding snap on February 4! Only a few days ago, Russ had to leave for a business trip and the doting daddy, 31, revealed how hard it was to be away from his son and wife. “I’m going to miss my lil’ family this week, I’m heading out of town for some business meetings. First time away from Axel, so expect FaceTime calls once I land,” he wrote. “You got this my baby mama!”
Just last month, Paola opened up about some of her personal struggles too. “I’ve been having a tough week, I’m not going to lie,” she wrote on January 19, while still managing to look at the bright side. “I think I’m experiencing the baby blues after giving birth. My only motivation is seeing my baby growing strong and healthy. I normally don’t like to open up this much on social media, but at the same time it’s good to open up and talk about it knowing this will pass soon!”
