Such a big day! 90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger shared photos of her daughter May’s first day of school on Instagram, and we are seriously tearing up over here. The little girl looks so grown up in the pictures her mama shared on August 11, and can’t even imagine how emotional Nicole is feeling. See the photos for yourself in the gallery below.

May, 5, is Nicole’s only child and daughter. Every single shot her mom shares is cuter than the last.

Nicole, 25, regularly shares updates on her daughter with her social media followers, and we’ve practically seen her grow up right before our eyes.

What’s the Plan?

Nicole previously opened up about her plans for May’s schooling on the last season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? And not everyone was happy with what she had to say.

International Kid?

The reality star originally planned to relocate from Florida to Morrocco so that she could be with her fiancé, Azan Tefou (a.k.a. Hassan M’Raouni). They planned to enroll May in a foreigner school in Azan’s home country, and they would live there together until Azan obtained a spousal visa, which would allow him to legally enter the United States as Nicole’s husband. Then, they planned to travel together back to America, where they planned to settle down as a family.

Urgency

But Nicole’s parents weren’t pleased with her plans to have May attend school in another country. “There is an urgency for them to get married in Morocco so that they can give May a little more stability and the consistency a child May’s age needs instead of this back and forth, back and forth,” Nicole’s mom, Robbalee, said.

Ironed Out

She continued, “May has to be enrolled in kindergarten in a few months. They have to get this all ironed out right away.”

Enrolled

But she needn’t have worried, because Nicole had a major change in plans. According to an insider who spoke with In Touch exclusively, “Nicole enrolled May at a school in Florida, which she’s starting soon.”

In the U.S. of A.

It certainly seems from the pictures Nicole shared that her daughter is starting kindergarten in the United States, not overseas. Meanwhile, Azan still appears to be in Morocco.

“May’s been having fun shopping for school supplies and her new uniforms,” the source added.

May’s mama shared on August 11 on Instagram, “It’s Mays first day of school tomorrow!😩😭”

“I’m so excited and happy for her to start learning in a classroom setting,” she continued. “I’m interested to see what kind of daily reports I get from her teacher♥️.”

Still Possible?

No mention of Azan, so it seems like the 90 Day Fiancé stars are still continuing their long-distance relationship.

Nicole also shared some adorable shots of May on her Instagram Story. One showed the little girl sitting at a table, presumably in her new classroom, and was captioned, “My girl.”

Celebrate

Another featured a treat May’s grandparents got for her to mark the special occasion. “Grandma and Papa got May a cake to celebrate her first day of school,” it said.
