Lately, all kinds of rumors have been swirling about 90 Day Fiancé stars Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou (a.k.a. Hassan M’Raouni). If you heard that the couple broke up, you’re not alone. It seems that a lot of fans were under that impression — so much so that when the Florida resident hosted one of her frequent Instagram Q&As, her messages were flooded with questions about her relationship status. Still Together?

Nicole, 25, loves to talk directly to her fans and answer all kinds of questions that they have about her life or her relationships. Though she occasionally shuts down those who get to personal, she’s happy to open up.

In the past, that’s included sharing all kinds of details about her life with Azan, whether it’s on the subject of religion, learning a new language, potential money troubles and having kids together.

She’s also used to dealing with people who doubt the reality of her relationship — but having to confront breakup rumors seems like something new for the star. But when her fans heard that she and Azan had split, she was quick to shut that gossip down.

No Truth

When a fan asked if Nicole could verify the reports they’d heard, she said that any claims that she and Azan had broken up were “100% NOT TRUE.” The star even seemed confused about why she would be asked.

Checking Sources

“I [don’t know] where this is coming from,” she said. “Make sure when you read articles, you check when it was posted. Sometimes old articles circulate. We are still happily together.”

Word Travels

When another fan asked pretty much the same question, she added that she “really [doesn’t] know” where people are getting this from. “I haven’t seen any articles,” she said. “I bet someone just said it and kept spreading it.”

Why Not

One fan had another question. They didn’t want to know if Nicole and Azan had broken up — they wanted to know why they hadn’t already. “What makes you continued your relationship? Don’t you get tired of [the] distance?” they asked.

True Love

“I continue our relationship because we love each other, and we want to be together,” Nicole answered. “Distance doesn’t mean you give up. It just means you have to fight harder to be together. The journey makes us stronger as a couple and individuals.”

Long Distance

In the past, Nicole has shared some of the struggles of being in a long-distance relationship. “Being so far away is hard on us so being able to Skype and sleep together makes me happy,” she shared on Instagram in May. “Soon we’ll be by each other’s side again.”

All Chemistry

“It’s not about American or foreign men,” Nicole answered, sharing that she hadn’t necessarily been seeking out someone who lived far away. “I fell in love with Hassan, and we will fight to be together.”

Standing Up

It seems that the star will always defend her love on social media, especially against the way it’s portrayed on the show. In April, she told fans that idea that the narrative has really embellished “him not loving [her] the way [she is].”

Correcting the Record

“He wouldn’t ask me to change anything if I was healthy at this weight. He loves me and my body the way I am. 100 percent not 55,” she told her followers. “He’s fully attracted to me. Sometimes you just need to add drama in places there isn’t.”

Hitting Back

So why does Nicole put up with all of the skepticism online? Well, aside from revealing that the 2019 season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After may actually be her last, there’s one simple reason she’s OK with handling all the haters.

When a fan asked her why she doesn’t just “block all haters,” she spelled it out for them. “I do [block] the really bad ones, but for the others I leave them so they can see how great my life really is.”

Tying the Knot

Considering the fact that Nicole has said it’s “highly likely” that she and Azan will finally get hitched at some point in 2019, she’ll be able to prove her haters wrong when she finally has a ring on her finger. Until then, she’s still living her best life — and anyone who followers her online can see it.
