He’s got a new gig! Jay Smith’s latest business venture may come as a surprise. The 90 Day Fiancé star is now a spokesperson for a dating app and his promo for “LimingTree” is about as entertaining as it gets. Jay encourages people to ditch Tinder and of course, fans are getting a kick out of it because he and wife Ashley Martson disputed over his use of the app on the recent tell-all.

“It’s your boy Jay Skinz from 90 Day Fiancé. I’m here representing the app called Lemon Tree,” the TLC star said in a video posted to blogger John Yates’ Instagram on Jan. 9. “Never, ever, ever make the mistake like me and go on Tinder. Instead, LimingTree is right there baby. Come on now.”

“LimingTree is an app that you can go and you socialize with friends, meet new friends, you can hook up with new friends, you can have new friends to go party with,” Jay added. “And there’s a lot of Jamaicans on it as well. So you can have your Jamaican shorty, or Jamaican party.”

Jay said there’s “no better way to go.” Several people were having a field day in the comment section, but a few eagle-eyed fans also noticed something else interesting about the video. “Behind him says Mr. and Mrs. so yeah I think they are still together?” one asked. Another chimed in with the same question, “Hold up. Isn’t that Ashley’s bedroom with the Mr. & Mrs. sign in the back?” There has been major speculation the couple has split after they both shared cryptic messages to their Instagram pages in recent weeks, but now fans think they may be doing alright.

On the action-packed tell-all which aired Jan. 6, Ashley, 31, confronted Jay, 20, about his Tinder use, which took place days after their wedding. “It was just a misunderstanding,” he said on the show. “And I wish I could go back and fix it. I would do any f—king thing just to fix it.” She fired back, “You f—ked up. Take it on the chin. Simple.” We’ll see how this new venture works out!
