What’s going on with these two? 90 Day Fiancé star Chantel Everett seemingly addressed rumors that she and her husband, Pedro Jimeno, split up via her Instagram Story on May 4. The couple is currently featured on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, so that development could prove a little awkward if it’s true. Chantel and Pedro met while when she was seeking a Spanish teacher. Pedro also wanted to learn English around the same time, which seems serendipitous, right? When Chantel decided to visit Pedro in his home country of the Dominican Republic, they fell in love.

Lies
Pedro came to the United States on a K-1 visa after he proposed, but Chantel told her family that he was there on a student visa. They were not aware that the couple was actually engaged and had to get married in the next 90 days. Oops!

The Truth
Six days before their wedding, the couple finally admitted the truth. It went better than expected, although there was some tension between Pedro and Chantel’s brother River, who didn’t like him.

Weddings!
Eventually, Pedro and Chantel got married in the U.S.. Chantel’s family was in attendance and started planning a second wedding in the Dominican Republic so Pedro’s family could be a part of their love story, too.

New Season, Same Drama
The duo was asked to be a part of season 2 of Happily Ever After? when it started airing in June 2017. As always when it comes to 90 Day Fiancé, there was drama a-plenty.

Clashing
Chantel and Pedro’s families definitely clashed, which was not great for their relationship. At one point, a fight broke out between Pedro and River. A major feud erupted, which started to fuel split rumors in earnest.

Trouble?
In September 2018, Chantel shared a quote to Instagram that read, “Sometimes the hardest part of being a great catch is accepting not everyone’s hands are strong enough to hold you.”

No Ring
Within weeks, she also posted a photo where she wasn’t wearing a wedding ring. That’s typically not a good sign when it comes to married people on reality shows.

Still Hope
The couple shared fewer and fewer photos on social media, and fans got worried. However, a few months passed, and Pedro added a location tag to one of his posts noting that he was in Gwinnett County, Georgia, where they live. So there was still hope.

All Good?
Now the couple is back for season 4 of Happily Ever After? but they don’t seem all that happy. They were seen fighting in promo clips for the show, and a TLC video showed Pedro with another woman’s legs wrapped around his waist as he dipped her. What’s up with that?!

Still Together?
However, the duo is also getting their own spin-off: The Family Chantel. That seems to imply that they’re still together, or together enough to have an entire show about their lives with one another.

Not Fans
But there’s still clearly trouble in paradise. While doing an Instagram Q&A on May 5, Chantel admitted her gal pals are not fans of her hubby. “Does Pedro get along with your friends?” someone asked the TLC star. She replied simply, “No.”

Rumors, Rumors
Speaking of Instagram Stories, on May 4, Chantel took to hers to finally address the speculation that she and Pedro broke up.

Someone mentioned Chantel in a comment on Instagram and wrote, “I’m thinking @chantel_j_ and @pedrojosejrjimeno are finished he has been thirst trapping a bit much on Instagram. I see you, Papi.”

Is She Serious?
Again, Chantel took a very simple approach to her reply and just put “Seriously” over the response in large font. But did she mean “Seriously?” like she couldn’t believe the reply, or “Seriously” as in, she’s in disbelief that her husband would pull such a move?
