She’s so thankful. 90 Day Fiancé star Ashley Martson thanked fans on Instagram for donating to help her with costs associated with her fight with lupus, and her gratitude is totally sincere and sweet. “I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your donations, prayers and support. I’m home and starting to slowly recover,” the reality series star began an Instagram update about her health scare.

Ashley, 31, has been pretty open about her battle with lupus. Her health sadly took a turn for the worse on January 13, when she was found unresponsive in her home. She was rushed to a hospital, learned that she was going through kidney failure, and had to undergo surgery to treat it. Despite the fact that she is estranged from her husband, Jay Smith, he understandably rushed to her side to be there for her during that recent health scare. Fortunately, she has a lot of support from her fans, and she was able to raise $3,860 out of her $5,000 goal on GoFundMe to take care of costs associated with her latest health complications.

I Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your donations, prayers and support. I’m home and starting to slowly recover. I am taking the campaign down as the amount of money raised was plenty to cover unexpected medical costs and loss of income. Im hopeful I can return to work in a few weeks. I am so thankful for your help and kind hearts ❤️ you guys are truly a blessing and I will forever be grateful for each of you. All the cards and care packages sent made me smile and tear up at the same time. Sometimes I loose faith in humanity but you all reminded me that there still is kind and compassionate people in this world. Thank you again from the Bottom of my heart 🙏🏼💗 I will continue to be open about my battle with lupus and if you don’t like it or feel I’m seeking attention then kindly unfollow. This disease is horrible and I want everyone that is going through it to know they’re not alone #thankyou #lupuswarrior #tlc #90dayfiance #lupusawareness 💜💜💜

Sometimes I loose [sic] faith in humanity but you all reminded me that there still is kind and compassionate people in this world. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart 🙏🏼💗.” She noted that she will “continue to be open” about her fight with lupus, and told any haters out there, “If you don’t like it or feel I’m seeking attention then kindly unfollow.” You go, girl!

The reality star concluded her post by saying that she wants anyone else who might be dealing with the same health struggles “to know they’re not alone.” Even in the midst of her own battle, she’s thinking of others. We hope you feel better soon, Ashley!
