’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Paola Mayfield Says She Regrets Posing Topless: “I Think I Learned My Lesson”

It looks like Paola Mayfield is really regretting doing that topless photo shoot now. The 90 Day Fiancé star and her husband Russ Mayfield got into an explosive fight during last season of the hit TLC series after Paola betrayed her husband's wishes and posed half naked during one of her very first photo shoot as a professional model. But now, the 30-year-old is reflecting on that fight.

“I’m still working, I’m getting more into fitness and that requires [you] to be a little bit more revealing — something that my husband is not that happy [about],” she explained in an interview with Fox News. “But he’s getting to the point [of] trying to understand and that I’m not doing it just because I want to expose myself and like, ‘Look at me, I'm half naked.’ No, it’s like I actually motivate people to change their lifestyle.”

Russ, 29, said that because he hails from Oklahoma, he has more conservative views and wants his wife to maintain a “classy” image with her modeling. But even though they’ve worked through that one particular issue in their relationship, that doesn’t stop Pao from feeling really bad about going against her hubby’s wishes and posing topless during a photo shoot last season — which caused a huge rift between the couple.

Pao said that she regrets doing that photo shoot and she explained why she decided to do it even though she knew it would make Russ upset. “I don’t know, I feel like I end up doing things at the moment just because of the pressure, just because I want to look professional and we got into a big fight,” she said. “I think I learned my lesson, but I think that was the biggest fight that we had.”

Russ chalked it up to poor communication and he expressed the importance of honesty in a relationship and not hiding anything from your significant other, which is something that their co-stars Jorge Nava and Anfisa Arkhipchenko also need to work on in their marriage.
