She’s telling her side of the story. 90 Day Fiancé star Luis Mendez recently said that his ex-wife, Molly Hopkins, abused him “many times” during the course of their relationship. Now, she’s breaking her silence on the shocking allegations and denying there’s any truth to his claims.

“That is the most absurd thing ever and he is such a liar. I chose to divorce him after he turned into a pompous ass and was hateful to my kids,” the TLC star, 43, told Us Weekly in response to his interview. “I never abused him. I did, however, smack the phone out of his hand when he went to show something to me and a whole stream of disgusting porn popped up. I loved him.” Molly and Luis were together for two years and he alleges that she began to “abuse” him when he didn’t want to film the show anymore. Luis also accused his former flame of tying the knot with him for “fame.”

Molly was outraged by Luis’ remarks and fired back, claiming doing such a thing could have actually hurt her business, LiviRae Lingerie. “If anything I went from being America’s sweetheart to looking like a desperate cougar, which is so far from the truth,” she said. “Why would I put myself in that God awful light for fame for my business? There is no amount of fame or money from a reality show that could even compare to the gains I’ve received from my hard work and dedication to my passion of helping women at LiviRae, something he knows nothing about…hard work.”

Luis, 27, and Molly called it quits back in January and their divorce was finalized later in May. Despite the drama, it looks like the exes are both happily moving on, since Molly chatted about being “single and ready to mingle” with Darcey Silva at the recent 90DF party. Meanwhile, Luis also recently remarried on Sept. 19 and he gushed over his “amazing” new bride.
