However, following his relationship with the foreigner, the mother of two admitted to funding his lifestyle as she didn’t want him to work.

“I’ve always provided Michael with enough money to live on,” she detailed during a September 2022 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. “So he can make payments on his car, keep his phone on, have a TV.”

Despite paying his living expenses, Angela detailed her husband’s shady behavior which included reactivating his Instagram account and asking for her to send more money.

“You have been blessed all these four years and now you want to be an ungrateful motherf—er,” she told him over a video call. In a separate conversation with producers, she added, “So, where’s that damn money going if he’s asking for more?”

However, according to Michael, the mom of two isn’t sending enough money and he spent his birthday at home due to being “financially buoyant.”

’90 Day Fiance’ Star Michael Wants to Work as an Instagram Influencer

During the October 2 episode, Michael revealed that despite Angela’s wishes, he planned to start a career as an online influencer.

“I need to make extra money for myself. So, I’m bringing back my social media,” Michael told his friends. “And I will be making more, more money.”

However, Angela shut down Michel’s dreams of starting a career on social media during a heated fight in E! News’ sneak peek of the October 23 episode. Michael tried to convince his wife to allow him to keep his Instagram page active and explained why he was so eager to remain on the social network.

“If I make use of my social media for influencing, I get paid,” he told Angela. “I mean, that’s all I’m trying to do, you know? Have an income. Make money here.”

Angela hit back, “I said, ‘No.'”

“Since Angela refused to send me extra money, I have no choice than to start making money on my own,” Michael explained in his confessional. “As a 34-year-old man in Nigeria, I’m expected to take care of my family. I mean, in my culture it’s what we do, you know? We work. We have responsibility. We have bills to pay.”

Are Angela Deem and Michael llesanmi Still Married?

After three years together, the pair went on to finally tie the knot in January 2020, with their nuptials playing out during an episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After that September. However, it wasn’t smooth sailing following their extravagant Nigerian wedding.

Despite returning for season 7 of the spinoff, Angela revealed it had been two years since their wedding day and they hadn’t seen each other since. Their spousal visa had been on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic putting a pause on all applications and interviews.

Angela and Michael eventually reunited when she visited him in Nigeria during a trip that played out during season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. After she returned to the United States, the pair hit another roadblock in their relationship when the Georgia native learned that Michael had been talking to another woman.

She received screenshots and voice notes that Michael sent the other woman, in which he told her he loved and missed her.

After playing the audio in a confessional, Angela broke down in tears during a December 2022 episode. “Can you believe he said that to this girl?” she asked. “That’s how he would talk to me. He broke my heart. He really broke my heart. He really broke my heart. I didn’t deserve this.”

The mother of two later revealed that Michael’s cheating had made her consider ending their marriage during part 4 of the season 7 tell-all in January 2023. “Right now, divorce is definitely on the table,” she said. “I’m definitely gonna file. That doesn’t mean I’m gonna sign.”

Despite their problems, Angela continued to post photos and videos with Michael on social media after the special was filmed.

However, it appears they couldn’t work through their issues. In Touch broke the news that the couple split on January 31, 2023. “Angela and Michael are not together,” a source exclusively revealed.
