He’s putting haters in their place! 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days couple Angela and Michael seemed like one of the least likely ones to make it down the aisle because of the distance, their age difference, and all of the issues that plagued their relationship — and there’s also the question of whether Michael, a 30-year-old from Nigeria, is with Angela, a 52-year-old n from the US, for the right reasons. But Angela and Michael worked through their problems and they ended up getting engaged in a double proposal on a recent episode. Now, Michael is defending himself from haters who claim he only wants to marry Angela so that he could get a green card.

On Monday, Oct. 1, Angela took to Facebook to expose a thirsty fan for sliding into Michael’s DMs and while some fans took to the comments to support Angela and Michael’s relationship, others felt that Angela could do better. “Let her have him. You deserve much better, just sayin’…” one fan wrote.

To that fan’s surprise, Michael (who goes by Kehinde Ilesanmi on Facebook) actually clapped back. “So I don’t deserve my babe?” Michael asked, and the fan responded, “Pretty evident his only agenda is to make it to the US. If you want somebody like that, have at it.”

Then Michael responded, “You [are] totally wrong u [sic] don’t judge a book by its cover… you deserve no explanations from me. Bye.”

To be fair, many fans watch TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé franchise because it’s almost always apparent that at least one of the cast members only want to marry their American significant others so that they could gain entry in the states. Even though Michael insisted that his relationship with Angela is the real deal, it didn’t help that almost immediately after she proposed to him — by handing him a ring wrapped in a small American flag that she hid in her bra — he shouted, “USA here I come!” in his confessional.
