Most couples from TLC’s reality TV franchise 90 Day Fiancé are trainwrecks, to say the least, but there are a few successful ones. Alan Cox and his wife Kirlyam Cox starred on Season 1 of the show and they are one of the handfuls of couples that are still married after going through the K-1 visa process while filming for the show. But now, four years later, Alan and Kirlyam returned for Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: What Now? — and they’re hinting that it might be the last time fans will see them on their TV screens.

“Well today is July 29, and part three of 90 Day Fiancé: What Now? will probably be the last time you see us on TV,” Alan said in a new YouTube video posted on Kirlyam’s channel.

“Maybe,” Kirlyam chimed in. “Because with so many spin-offs [from] 90 Day Fiancé coming up, they have many options. We don’t know, we’re not saying anything — it’s just maybe.”

“We have a feeling that the way TLC’s going, the direction that they’re going [they] won’t have much room for our story — our type of story,” Alan said.

It seemed like Alan was throwing just a tiny bit of shade at the network, and he also seemed to hint that his relationship with Kirlyam does not produce as much drama or fighting as the rest of the couples on the show — which would offer an explanation as to why producers wouldn’t ask them to return.

Alan and Kirlyam have the sweetest storyline on 90 Day Fiancé: What Now? Cameras caught up with them just as they were preparing to welcome their first child together, documenting their first days as new parents — and they even captured a sweet gesture. Kirlyam was missing her parents so much in the days since she became a mother, so Alan set up a photo shoot so they could take pictures together as a family with his parents, and he included Kirlyam’s parents in the photo shoot as best he could by printing out large cardboard cut-outs of their faces.

But since they don’t think the network will ask them to return for another season, Alan and Kirlyam are going to be more active on their YouTube channel by posting regular videos and updates.
