’90 Day Fiancé’ Stars Jon And Rachel Give Fans An Inside Look At Their Sweet Proposal
So romantic! Fans are loving the chemistry between 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days couple Jon Walters and Rachel Bear. They’ve been following along on their love story and viewers just witnessed Jon’s sweet proposal to Rachel on a recent episode of the hit TLC reality TV series. But now, Jon and Rachel are giving fans a look into the moments leading up to their proposal in a new video posted on their joint YouTube page.
It seems like the couple got engaged during a getaway to King Arthur’s Tintagel Castle, which is located about two hours southwest of Jon’s hometown of Weston-super-Mare. The couple booked a hotel room and brought Rachel’s infant daughter Lucy along for the romantic day. The couple enjoyed coffee together that morning and they played with Lucy in bed before heading out on a car ride to see the sights, which is where their proposal scene started on the episode.
“I had a really nice morning this morning,” Jon said with a big smile as they drove to their next destination — which turned out to be the location where Jon proposed. After touring the grounds, the couple made their way to the edge of a cliff with a breathtaking view — and that’s where Jon popped the question.
Jon got down on one knee on the pretense that he wanted to keep Rachel’s daughter Lucy out of the wind — since he was wearing the infant in a carrier on his torso. Rachel knelt too, and that’s when Jon started his sweet proposal speech.
“Rachel, I love you. I’d never lie to you. And I’ll always work for you, and I’ll never give up,” he said. He then reached his hand out, revealing the diamond ring he was wearing on the tip of his index finger. “Can I be your husband?” he asked, and of course, Rachel said yes.
