So long, beard! 90 Day Fiancé star Jay Smith ditched his signature facial hair and debuted a new look via social media on January 20. The TLC alum shared a photo of his “baby face” and was flooded with compliments, as well as questions about how his wife is doing. Jay has been showing support to Ashley Martson amid her battle with lupus, even rushing to her side during her recent health scare. Jay’s been trying to stay positive after Ashley’s health sadly took a turn for the worst on January 13. She was reportedly found unresponsive in her home.

Ashley was taken to a hospital and discovered that she was having kidney failure, and needed to undergo surgery.

Despite their rumored split, Jay rushed to go see Ashley. “Hang in there babe you’re gonna be alright soon,” he wrote on January 16.

Ashley recently thanked fans on Instagram for donating to her GoFundMe, which helped cover her extensive medical costs.
