’90 Day Fiance’ Star David Allegedly Slid Into Evelyn’s DMs While She Was Underage

Well, this is creepy. Evelyn Cormier and David Vázquez Zermeño are just one of the couples on Season 5 of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé with a pretty big age gap — David is nine years older than his teenage bride-to-be — and as if that wasn’t weird enough, it seems like David had allegedly gotten pretty flirty with Evelyn on Instagram while she was as young as 15 years old.

90 Day Fiancé reddit sleuths used their social media creeping skills to scroll back deep into Evelyn’s Instagram posts and found a post that was dated October 2014 with the hashtag “#christiangirl,” according to a screenshot obtained by Starcasm. In the screenshot, a comment that was posted by what appears to be David’s Instagram handle read, “So cool you are a believer! God bless you!” and Evelyn seemingly responded, “Yes I am.” The photo has since been removed from Evelyn’s page.

But another redditor dug deeper into David’s Instagram and found more flirty exchanges between them from December of that same year. In the shot, David was playing a game of ping-pong and he tagged Evelyn in the comments. She seemingly responded with a winking smiley face emoji and wrote,”Alright, so you’re pretty good.”

In Evelyn’s introductory interview for 90 Day Fiancé, she revealed that she was 18 years old, so she would have been 15 years old in 2014 — which means David would have been 24 years old at the time. The exchanges between the two seemed flirt, and they also continued to leave heart eyes emojis on each other’s selfies throughout much of 2015, so they were kind of public about their attraction to each other. But it seems like they realized that it comes off kind of creepy that David was flirting with a teenager as an adult — since these screenshots have surfaced online, David and Evelyn both made sure to scrub their Instagram pages of any evidence.
