’90 Day Fiance’ Star Elizabeth Potthast Gives Birth to Baby No. 2 With Husband Andrei Castravet
It’s a boy! 90 Day Fiancé stars Elizabeth “Libby” Castravet (née Potthast) gave birth to baby No. 2, welcoming her second child — a son — with husband Andrei Castravet.
She shared the happy news via Instagram on Friday, October 7. “HE’S HERE! We welcomed sweet precious baby boy Winston Leo Castravet into the World on 10/4/2022 weighing 7lbs 10oz 20in long,” Libby wrote alongside photos of the family in the hospital.
“Our hearts are SO filled with joy right now and we are already loving being a family of four. Ellie is a proud big sister and all about her baby brother ‘Win’!” she continued. “Having a baby boy is totally different energy and I’m loving it so much!!!”
Libby and Andrei shared their journey from long-distance love to marriage to becoming parents ever since they made their debut on season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé in 2017. They met through tinder in 2016 while Libby was planning a solo trip to Ireland and looking to meet friends there. The two met face-to-face in Dublin after hitting it off online. Andrei, originally from Moldova, was working in Ireland as he said it was easier for him to make money there than in his home country. He and Libby quickly grew attached and during a joint trip to Sicily the couple got engaged.
They got married in 2017, and welcomed their first child, daughter Eleanor “Ellie” Louise, in January 2019. They returned for season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily, Ever After? which captured the days leading up to their second wedding ceremony Andrei’s native country of Moldova — which was full of tension because Andrei did not get along with Libby’s family.
The Florida native and her husband brought even more drama on season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? The tension between Andrei and Libby’s brother Charlie and sisters Jenn and Becky grew when Andrei asked Libby’s father, Chuck Potthast, for a job at the family’s real estate business. After several arguments, Andrei’s feud with Libby’s family resulted in a physical fight between him and Charlie. Despite the family drama, Libby and Andrei’s relationship seemed to remain strong.
The couple announced their second pregnancy via Instagram in March. “We are so extremely excited to announce baby Castravet #2!” Elizabeth captioned their baby announcement at the time. “Ellie is SO ecstatic to be a big sister and help momma!”
“For a while it was hard for me to imagine having another baby that would ‘take my attention away’ from Ellie and share my love,” Elizabeth continued. “But as time grew, I realized how she would love a sibling! Now I can imagine the 2 together and how much love will go around!”
As Ellie prepares to become a big sister, Libby and Andrei also found a new hobby for their oldest daughter. They launched her YouTube channel, “Ellie’s World,” May 2022. The channel posts weekly videos featuring Ellie playing games and appearing in skits with her parents.
