Let down again. 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star David Murphey did not meet his online girlfriend, Lana, for the first time in person as he had hoped. During the Sunday, April 26 episode, the 60-year-old seemed to finally accept that Lana, 27, may not be real.

The scene picked up where the last episode left off, which is when David traveled to an address that Lana had previously given him when they tried to sign up for a cruise vacation in the past. The blonde beauty had stood David up yet again at a restaurant in her hometown of Pavlohrad, Ukraine, and he decided he would stop by her apartment to confront her. But when David knocked on the door of apartment No. 8, Lana was not the one who answered the door — it was an older man.

“Lana?” David asked the man. “No. no, I don’t know anyone like that,” the man replied. David tried to ask him more questions about Lana, but the man did not understand English. So David used a translator app to communicate with the gentleman.

During their conversation, David asked if anyone who looked like Lana lived in that building. The man explained that he had been living in the same building since 1995, and that he’s never seen anyone in the building who looks like her. “No one like that here,” he told David.

Finally giving up, David left. “She may not have given me her real address,” David said in his confessional. “I don’t know that there’s anything left to say. The whole thing has been a huge disappointment. Let down, emotional rise, let down. I’m drained. I’m completely drained. This is too much. The up and down is too much. I’m done.”

David then traveled back to Odesa, Ukraine, and prepared to head back home to the United States without meeting Lana. After seven years of being in an online relationship with her — during which he only communicated with her through the same dating app where they met — David still seemed to struggle to accept that she may not have meant all the things she said.

“What signs was I ignoring? Because I think I was ignoring some,” David said as he packed and got ready to head to the airport. “I didn’t expect this, I never imagined the trip would have ended like it has. I want to say Lana has stood me up for the last time but I know if she just writes to me suddenly, [if] she just invites me to a chat suddenly — that’s all it takes and I’m hooked again. Everything inside myself tells me I’m done with her but I still love her so I don’t know what’s going to happen.”
