Aside from his initial disclaimer, Ricky also posted a list of guidelines for those who are still determined to give it a go. Ricky, 33, has always been very outspoken on social media and he continues to keep it real with fans. While taking to Instagram on March 8, he shared a list of guidelines for anyone wanting to appear on the hit TLC show.

Take Caution
“1. Don’t do it, it’s stupid,” Ricky began. “2. If you can’t resist, make sure you’re NOT a yes man or woman.” The 90DF alum also said it was important for people to be confident in their own decisions while filming.

Keeping It Real
He continued, “3. Do not let them tell you what to do, stand firm and tell them your true story and narrative.” Ricky also discussed hours and wages.

About the Coin
“4. They cannot force you to work 12 hours, you are an independent contractor, you make your own f–king hours. Don’t fall for that trap,” he wrote. “They start forcing hours then you are considered an employee and due overtime. (this is a huge one guys).”

Tips for Success
Ricky said rule No. 5 is, “They will pay for s–t, but make sure you tell them in writing that you never asked for it and if they do it is out of their own free will and NOT subject for repayment.”

Last but not least, the TLC alum said that it’s all about keeping those receipts. He wrote, “6. Do what I did. Record everything and have everything in writing.”

In an Instagram Story posted on October 26, he blasted TLC and Sharp Entertainment, the TV production company that makes the 90 Day Fiancé shows, and said working with them was “not worth it.”

Ricky is never afraid to speak up when it comes to something he’s passionate about, including 90DF stars and GoFundMe campaigns. In the past couple of weeks, various stars from the reality TV franchise have started campaigns on social media.

“I don’t care if somebody likes me or not, but if you’re part of the 90 Day Fiancé show, if you have some issues financially — I understand TLC don’t pay s–t, it’s true,” he wrote.

Ricky continued, “But if you have some issues financially, medically, or whatever is the f–king reason — you got three million people that watch the show. Offer a product or offer a service … Don’t f–king beg,” he explained.

These days, it looks like Ricky is enjoying his post-90 Day Fiancé life. In January, he teased, “Always thinking about the next move.”

On February 20, Ricky revealed that he’s staying busy with film and directing work. He wrote, “I can’t wait to start editing and making some movie magic.”
