Former ’16 & Pregnant’ Star Myranda Trevino Kennemer’s Husband in Critical Condition After Car Accident

Over the weekend, the reality star’s husband, Eric Kennemer, was involved in a devastating car accident that’s now left him in critical condition.

While very little details are known about the car wreck, Eric’s grandmother, Barbara James, took to Facebook to inform friends and family of the unfortunate accident.
“I would like to ask my Facebook friends to please say a prayer for my grandson Eric Kennemer,” she wrote. “He was in a bad car wreck last night. He is in the hospital in Houston, TX. Say a prayer for his wife Myranda.”
Myranda and Eric share daughters Kaylee, 5, and Ryleigh, 2. They were married in November 2013 shortly after the birth of their second child.
Myranda also shared a heartbreaking message via Facebook shortly after the incident, asking friends and family for prayers.
“Please God, give Eric the strength to become well again,” she wrote. “And please give me the strength to be strong for both of our wonderful children you have blessed us with, as well as him. Please let him come home soon. His children need him very much. And so do I.”
Late December of last year, Valerie Fairman, another star featured on the MTV reality series, passed away following an accidental overdose at a friend’s house. The 23-year-old left behind a seven-year-old daughter named Nevaeh. Prior to her death, Valerie was arrested in February 2015 for prostitution, in addition to struggling with addiction.
It was also reported the late reality star may have been pregnant and engaged to boyfriend Russ Bosi before the overdose.
