Meet Ashley Jackson — Rev. Jesse Jackson’s 15-Year-Old Love Child Who Wants to Be a Pop Star!
Ashley Jackson, 15, was born after famed activist Rev. Jesse Jackson had an affair with her mother, a political scientist. So it’s not surprising her famous father felt she was destined for a career in politics.
But the teen has a very different plan in mind — she’s hoping to achieve superstardom as a pop star. And she’s well on her way! Under the stage name “AJae,” she released her first music video for her single, titled “Just Do Me.”

“Dad likes the song a lot and he’s said lot of positive things about it,” she said of her father, who has since become her biggest fan.
“He’s proud of me. I’m just not sure this was his plan for me at this time, but he’s trying hard to be supportive. I think that originally he thought that being an entertainer would be something I’d pursue at an older age — not this age, so I think this is a surprise to him.”
She says it’s important to him that she's well-versed on every aspect of the industry — luckily, she has a positive role model to look to in terms of business decisions!
“I like a lot about Beyoncé, not just music-wise. I like the fact she’s a businesswoman and she manages to empower young girls she kind of just does it all,” she explained. “She’s the ultimate right now in the industry, she’s the kind of artist I’d love to hopefully be one day.”
She’s hoping that one day she can have the same kind of influence.
“I enjoy being able to let people hear what I want to do and share what I think is my destiny — share my gift and help people out and help people have a better day,” she told the Mail Online.
“I want to help out as much as I can, bring people with me on my journey and share the love.”
