Leland and Jamie Chapman Spend Time With Kids After Bonus Mom Beth’s Memorial

These past few weeks haven’t been easy for all the various members of the Chapman family, but Leland Chapman and his wife, Jamie Pilar Chapman, have been making the best out of a tough situation. After mourning bonus mom Beth Chapman‘s passing at her memorial service on Saturday, July 13 — the star’s second after her family honored her in Hawaii — the two made some time for their own kids. On Monday, July 15, Jamie posted an emotional message for her bonus kids, taking a page out of her step-mother-in-law’s book. Though she may not be related to any of the Chapman kids, it’s clear she loves them like her own.

“My little family!” Jamie, 30, shared on social media. “I couldn’t tell you how blessed I am to have each [and] every one of them in my life! I love them, [and] I would die for them. They all make me so proud! This right here, this is what completes me. My heart is full because of them.💕 I love you kiddos always, ’til the end of time.😘”

There’s plenty of love to go around in this family. In the comments, Lynette Yi, Leland’s ex and the mother of his daughter, Leiah, responded, “That’s a good looking family right there. 😍 Love seeing you all together.” Jamie sent her a heart-eye emoji right back, writing, “Meee too! I enjoy it. 💯😍” On the 13th, the step-mom had also shared a special message for Leland’s two sons, Dakota Chapman and Cobie Chapman. “My two young men who make me proud,” she wrote, sharing a photo of the three of them and “an amazing friend whom [she] calls family. ❤️”

On Friday, July 12, the Dog’s Most Wanted star revealed that everyone had come together to celebrate Beth’s life in Colorado. In addition to sharing a photo of the crew, she also posted the same family photo that her sister-in-law Lyssa Chapman shared. “Family, ❤️” she captioned it simply, with one of her other sisters-in-law, Bonnie Jo Chapman, responding in the comments. “Love you, ❤️” Bonnie wrote. “Love you more, 😘” Jamie shot back. We’re glad to see this family taking comfort in each other during such a difficult time — and we’re touched by how much love they all share.
